Step 5 of the 12-Step Christ Intentional Living Plan
Jesus answered, “Scripture [The Bible] says, ‘A person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that God speaks.’” — Jesus Christ, Savior of the World, Matthew 4:4
Live by every word that comes from God’s and Christ’s mouths only. God loves you so much that He sent His Only Son to die for you so you can be reconciled with Him and have daily and eternal peace of mind. Likewise, Christ loves you so much that He agreed to die for you so you can have a happy and fulfilling life and daily and eternal peace of mind. Knowing what you now know about God and Christ, does it not make sense to become obsessed with them and every word they say? Does it not make sense to study their words and speak them over your life and circumstances as daily affirmations?
Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you” — Jesus Christ, Savior of the World, Matthew 9:29
Your mind believes whatever you tell it. Not what someone else tells it, but what YOU tell it. That is why Christ always said the above phrase to those who needed a miracle from Him:
According to your faith, let it be done to you.
God’s and Christ’s Words matter over your life
What you say to yourself about yourself and what you think to yourself about yourself will have the most significant impact on your life. If you say to yourself that you cannot accomplish anything, your mind will believe it, and you will never accomplish anything. However, if you study God’s and Christ’s words, say them back to yourself, and believe them, you will become unstoppable.
“…with God all things are possible.” — Jesus Christ, Savior of the World, Matthew 19:26
Imagine saying “WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE” over your life and circumstances as a daily affirmation every morning when you wake up and actually believe it. Whoa. Just whoa. You will become unstoppable and accomplish great things by God in Christ’s Name. Not to mention the positive boost, great energy and good vibes you will get at the start of your day. Do you dare to try? Then say it…
With God all things are possible in Jesus’s Name… With God all things are possible in Jesus’s Name… With God all things are possible in Jesus’s Name…
How to get into God’s and Christ’s Words?
There is no right or wrong way from the options below. Instead, choose what works best for your relationship with God and Christ, for you and for your life and circumstances.
Open your Bible from Genesis (its first book) and pray to God by asking Him to allow His Holy Spirit to open your understanding in Jesus Christ’s Name as you get acquainted with His Words.

The Bible
God in The Bible
From Genesis to Revelation, God is true to His Word. He is who He says He is, remains the same and does not change. He is The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End, The First and The Last. He is The Creator, Ruler and Leveller of the Universe—its Center Good.
Christ in The Bible
From Matthew to Revelation, Christ is true to His Word. He is who He says He is, remains the same and does not change. He is The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End, The First and The Last. He is The Son of God, The Lamb of God, The Ruler of God’s Creation—The Savior, Rescuer and Redeemer of Humanity.
How to navigate The Bible as you get closer to God and Christ
Although your relationship with God and Christ is profoundly intimate, and people interpret The Bible as they see fit, this is The God Co’s rule of thumb when reading passages in The Bible that might make you uncomfortable or trigger you.
God is the one who loved you so much that He sent His son to die for you so you can be reconciled with Him and have daily and eternal peace of mind.—Only what God says in The Bible matters.
Christ loves you so much that He agreed to die for you to be with you every day so you can live a happy and fulfilling life.—Only what Christ says in The Bible matters.
Don’t build a monument to human beings just because they are in The Bible. Instead, build a temple in your heart for God and Christ. Make them your heroes—your shining guides—the only constants in your life.
God decided to allow His Only Child to die a brutal death on the cross so you will be His heiress—God alone and no one else.
Christ suffered an atrocious death on the cross for you so you wouldn’t perish in hell—Christ alone and no one else.
If God says something in The Old Testament that triggers you or makes you uncomfortable, remember that God is God, and this is His world which He created and His rules. But He made it all better for you by allowing Christ, His Only Child, to die for you. Christ’s Death and Resurrection made it all OK for you because you can now call God your father, provider and healer.
If Christ says something in The New Testament that triggers you or makes you uncomfortable, remember that Christ agreed to die for you so you can have daily and eternal peace of mind. Christ also asked God to send His Holy Spirit to be your advocate in all areas of your life. An advocate who speaks for, defends and supports you no matter what and in all circumstances.
